Dr. A.R. Lord Elementary and Tillicum Annex families hosted the annual Manure Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, April 2nd 2022. It was a great turnout and a lot of hard work went into the event to raise funds for the Parent Advisory Council in support of our schools. A portion of the proceeds will also go towards the grade 7 year end field trip. It was great to see so many supporters who came out to volunteer and neighbors who purchased the composted antibiotic and hormone free steer manure from Hopcott Farms. The Hastings Community Association also continues to be a great partner in support of this event.
We are look forward to seeing the beautiful vegetable gardens, flowers and lawns in the neighborhood that will grow lush over the season ahead, but even more importantly, thankful for the reconnections within our community that will bloom once again.
A small amount of bagged manure is still for sale for a limited over the next few days. Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
