Central Okanagan, Vancouver and Surrey District Parent Advisory Councils are thrilled to provide an opportunity for parents and caregivers across BC to hear Dr. Katharine Smart, pediatrician and 2021/22 President of the Canadian Medical Association, provide insights on kids and Covid-19, keeping them safe and her thoughts on vaccines for 5-11 year olds. Presentation followed by Q&A with questions submitted from BC Families. School ends at 2:00pm on both days for early dismissal. Provide your input on BC Ministry of Education: frequency and grading system (Letter grades, %, assessment eg. emerging, developing, proficient, extending), goal setting and student self assessment, and diversity and inclusion.
