The BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutrition Program is run by the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation. They are a are a non-profit, charitable organization that works with educators to bring local agriculture to BC's students. Together with farmers, teachers, and agriculture specialists, they are teaching A.R. Lord Elementary students about the story of food in British Columbia. Our school also includes the + Milk option which delivers milk and fortified soy beverages as an add on. There is no cost to students. Why this program is great:

1. Order Forms are available at the front desk of the school 2. Place your order directly during the Student Lead Conferences this week on Wednesday and Thursday. PAC will have a table setup for orders and payment. 3. Online at Munchalunch Vancouver Coastal Health will be conducting Hearing Screening for Kindergarten students on November 13th. They will be coming into the school with support from the Community Audiology Centre and will screen for hearing loss and for medical conditions of the outer and middle ear. Hearing screenings are an important tool that can help prevent problems with communication, learning and development. Children attend Kindergarten in the same year that they turn five years old Register with your neighbourhood English catchment school first - regardless of whether you plan to send your child there.
