Recycle Your Worn-Out Markers

Please bring your old markers from work, home, daycare, etc., and add them to one of our collection bins.

Our school takes part in a program to recycle used markers (any brand of felt-tip markers — permanent markers, colouring markers, white board markers, highlighters, etc.). These are collected and then sent to a facility that will turn them into alternative clean fuel. Most teachers should have collection bins in their classrooms that get emptied into a bin in the hallway. There is one bin by the front desk, and another downstairs in the hallway outside the gym. 

Over the last 2 years, we have recycled 920 markers!
